RePlay for Kids hosts workshops where volunteers are shown how to adapt a toy so that a child with physical or developmental disabilities can use an external switch to operate the toy. These toys are then donated to agencies or schools that work children with special needs, or directly to families so that children who need them can use these adapted toys at home. The organization also works with agencies to repair their existing toys and assistive devices. They also provide training and educational resources to individuals and organizations interested in learning more about adapting toys and devices for children with disabilities. Funding for these services come from foundations, individual and corporate donations and sponsorships.

Companies, community groups or individuals interested in participating in or hosting a workshop can contact RePlay for Kids to schedule the activity. More info can be found at www.replayforkids.org, or call 330-721-8281, or email info@replayforkids.org.
