MAYOR’S WELCOME
Welcometo Strongsville
A strong sense of community camaraderie and the caring support of neighbors define the Strongsville way of life. That may have been more apparent than ever before during the challenging year of 2020.

Strongsville may be a prosperous suburb of nearly 45,000 residents, but they have retained the feel of a small hometown driven by family and community pride.
Few towns can match Strongsville’s diverse balance of modern amenities, abundant parks and recreational opportunities and a location that offers convenient access to anywhere. During normal times, our city is energized all year long with myriad special events and fun activities for people of all ages, from bingo and card games at our beautiful senior center, to soccer and baseball at the city’s many recreation fields, to summer community band concerts and other arts and cultural events. We all look forward to resuming those staples of Strongsville life in the coming year.
Despite the challenges of a global pandemic, the business climate in Strongsville remains strong, as evidenced by a solid 95 percent occupancy rate in our four business parks, where more than 160 manufacturing and technology firms employ nearly 9,000 people.
In the retail and service sector, our businesses – many locally – and family-owned – look forward to serving neighbors and guests in their normal fashion. The generous sponsorship of those businesses, which provide an essential part of the Strongsville way of life, made this 19th Annual Strongsville Image Book and Community Guide possible.
Please consider patronizing them when you go out to shop and dine.
Whether you are a resident, a Strongsville business owner or a visitor, I’m confident that this magazine will serve as a valuable resource to better familiarize yourself with our wonderful community. For up-to-date information, visit the city’s website at www.strongsville.org.
