MORE SHORT TERM PROPOSALS
a recreational town square, opening up views and access to the river to provide a soft ‘heart’ to the town. This would require the relocation of the Youth Centre and toilet block in the Glanville’s parking area. Future growth of the centre Two town centre sites should be considered for the long term growth of the town; the police station and the car park, possibly as a hotel with active frontages to reinforce the existing street pattern.
