The Apostle’s Creed
All: I believe in God, the Father Almighty, creator of heaven and earth. I believe in Jesus Christ, His only Son, our Lord. He was conceived by the power of the Holy Spirit and born of the Virgin Mary. He suffered under Pontius Pilate, was crucified, died, and was buried. He descended to the dead. On the third day He rose again. He ascended into heaven, and is seated at the right hand of the Father. He will come again to judge the living and the dead. I believe in the Holy Spirit, the holy catholic church, the communion of saints, the forgiveness of sins, the resurrection of the body and the life everlasting. AMEN.

COMMENDATION (All Standing)
The Lord's Prayer
Hymn:
1. WHEN peace, like a river, attendeth my way, when sorrows like sea billows roll; whatever my lot, thou hast taught me to say, It is well, it is well with my soul. It is well with my soul, it is well, it is well with my soul.
2. Though Satan should buffet, though trials should come, let this blest assurance control, that Christ has regarded my helpless estate, and hath shed his own blood for my soul.
3. My sin, oh, the bliss of this glorious thought!
My sin, not in part but the whole, is nailed to the cross, and I bear it no more, praise the Lord, praise the Lord, O my soul!
4. And, Lord, haste the day when my faith shall be sight, the clouds be rolled back as a scroll; the trump shall resound, and the Lord shall descend, even so, it is well with my soul.

HYMNS:
“WHEN THE TRUMPET OF THE LORD SHALL SOUND”
(James Milton Black)
When the trumpet of the Lord shall sound, and time shall be no more, And the morning breaks eternal, bright and fair, When the saved of earth shall gather over on the other shore, When the roll is called up yonder I’ll be there.
Refrain:
When the roll, is called up yonder, When the roll, is called up yonder, When the roll, is called up yonder, When the roll is called up yonder I’ll be there.
On that bright and cloudless morning when the dead in Christ shall rise, And the glory of His resurrection share;
When His chosen ones shall gather to their home beyond the skies, And the roll is called up yonder, I’ll be there. (Refrain)
Let us labour for the Master from the dawn till setting sun, Let us talk of all His wondrous love and care; Then when all of life is over, and our work on earth is done, And the roll is called up yonder, I’ll be there. (Refrain)
1.I Am so glad that our Father in heaven
Tells of his love in the Book he has given: Wonderful things in the Bible I see; This is the dearest, that Jesus loves me.
I am so glad that Jesus loves me, Jesus loves even me. Though I forget Him, and wander away, Still Jesus loves me wherever I stray, Back to his dear loving arms do I flee, When I remember that Jesus loves me.
3. O if there's only one song I can sing, When in his beauty I see the great King, This shall my song in eternity be, O what a wonder that Jesus loves me.
4. If one should ask of me, “How can I tell?”
Glory to Jesus, I know very well; God's Holy Spirit with mine doth agree, Constantly witnessing: Jesus loves me.
Philipp Bliss (1838-76)
