The past few decades have experienced tremendous leaps in the field of technology. The salaries in these cities can range anything from 9.9 laks p.a to about 9.35 lakhs p.a. India as a country, is also a flourishing market for start-ups, which seem to be especially keen on hiring data science professionals and offering salaries up to 10 lakhs for senior level jobs. When it comes to the sectors, which demand the most number of data scientists, Ecommerce sector definitely takes the cake. This sector offers salaries close to 12 lakhs and is closely followed by Retail and FMGG sectors, which offer slightly less. When it comes to the specializations in the field of data analytics, it is the Advanced Analytics or Predictive Modelling Professionals, who are paid the highest salaries. Data Mining Professionals are a close second, followed by those with profiles in Big Data Hadoop, NoSql, Reporting, Bi and more. This trend seems to be that will not be fading out any soon.
