TOURISM and LEISURE MANAGEMENT Advance your skills in the international tourism industry Our students develop the management abilities required for positions in the domestic and international tourism industry. Besides supporting the acquisition of specialist skills in areas such as strategic management and e-tourism, we also promote strategic thinking and approaches. The emphasis is on sensitivity to cross-cultural factors, a willingness to adopt new technologies and creative problem-solving skills.

Programme details

You are interested in a management position in the tourism industry. Therefore, you want to achieve a profound understanding of the tourism system including current trends and developments such as design thinking and digital marketing.

As a graduate, you will be able to hold executive positions – for instance in management, marketing, controlling, sales, project management and development – both in the domestic and international tourism and leisure sectors.

Admission An undergraduate degree programme in a relevant business or technical discipline or an equivalent degree with a workload of at least 180 ECTS at a recognised institute of higher education in Austria or abroad. Proof of English language proficiency (Common European Framework of Reference for Languages level C1)
