Imenco Guide Wire Anchors IMENCO HAS SUPPLIED THE SUBSEA INDUSTRY WITH GUIDE WIRE A NCHOR S SINCE 198 8.

The system was developed in 1988 and continuous R&D has driven expansion into new areas of use.

Imenco anchors can be found all over the world - where ever oil and gas is recovered offshore. The systems are used both in shallow and deep water operations. The anchors are ROV/ Diver operated for efficient connection of guidewires to sub-sea structures

Imenco anchors are delivered globally to a variety of customers such as oil companies, drilling companies, subsea operators, subsea equipment manufacturers and many others. To date we have delivered over 1,000 units with negligible failure reported.

The anchors are made from high strength stainless steel and have a long operational lifetime. No extra tools required other than an ROV or a diver. Anchor enters and locks to the post top/ receptacle by its own weight and can be released and re-engaged without having to be recovered to surface. Standard release of an anchor from the guide post / receptacle is simply for the ROV/Diver to lift the release sleeve.

We have the facilities, competence and experience to provide service, maintenance and repair of all types and models of our products and have all necessary spare parts in stock. The Imenco guidewire anchors are designed according to DNV standard for certification no.2-22 Lifting Appliances.

Standard Guidewire Anchor STANDARD GUIDEWIRE ANCHOR WA S OUR FIRST AND IS OUR MOST USED GUIDEWIRE ANCHOR.

The Anchor is recognized by its slender body and wider head having a shoulder resting on the guidepost/receptacle top. This gives easy access to the release sleeve for releasing the anchor. The release sleeve is painted orange for easy recognition of the release point. All standard anchors can be delivered with either wire socket or a padeye for connecting to the guidewire. All anchor models can be modified to suit individual needs.

All standard guidewire anchors are delivered with a shear pin. This allows the anchor to be released from the guiding system in the event of unexpected loads occurring in the system. The shear pin breaking load can be made to comply with client’s specification up to the specified models max shear pin capacity.

Standard Anchor Options For operations where accidental release may be critical, an optional safety sleeve or safety clip can be installed. Most of the standard guidewire anchors can be delivered with both safety sleeve and safety clip. The anchors can also be delivered with lifting adaptor and test load certificates. Slimline Guidewire Anchor THE SLIMLINE GUIDEWIRE ANCHORS HAVE SIMIL AR FUNC TIONS TO THE STANDARD GUIDEWIRE ANCHOR.

The slimline anchor has the same advantages as the standard anchors, such as shear pin release, orange release/safety sleeve, optional padeye connection to guidewire and more. The main difference between them is the design of the termination head. The slimline design makes it possible for the termination head to have the same dimensions as the anchor body. The shoulder of the anchor is designed to release via a push load by an ROV/Diver. This allows all of the anchor to enter and exit the guidepost/receptacle ID where operational circumstances demand. All anchors can be modified to suit individual needs. Feature

Lifting Anchor ALL LIF TING ANCHORS ARE DELIVERED WITH A LOAD TEST CERTIFIC ATE WITH A SAFET Y FAC TOR OF 5.

The lifting anchor has a different design than the guidewire anchors and is equipped with a solid steel pin instead of a (predetermined shear value) shear pin. The lifting anchor can be delivered with a pre-installed safety clip if required for the operation. The lifting anchor does not have a shear pin design and should therefore not be used in a guiding system in the same way as the standard and slimline guidewire anchors. Safety Clip: Two types are available 1. Standard Safety clip (pre-installed) 2. ROV installable This ensures that the sleeve is locked in position. To release the anchor, an ROV will have to remove the clip. Standard anchors from GWA-22 to GWA-150 can be delivered with both safety sleeve and safety clip on request. Safety Sleeve: Works as an integrated safety mechanism to prevent accidental release of the anchor. The safety sleeve will have to be “unlocked” before anchor can be released.

Imenco Guide Post IMENCO HAS A LONG HISTORY OF DESIGNING AND DELIVERING GUIDE POSTS TO THE SUBSEA INDUSTRY

The guide posts are made from carbon steel then sandblasted and painted to meet offshore standards. Imenco delivers two types of guide post – top releasable and bottom releasable. Length and outer diameter according to clients requirements. Standard = 8” OD Pipe (Ø219mm), wall thickness according to required strength. The Imenco guide posts are easy to operate, no tools are required other than an ROV.

Imenco Guide Post Extension - Model M4-L THE IMENCO GUIDE POST EXTENSIONS MODEL M4-L ARE MADE FROM HIGH STRENGTH STAINLESS STEEL AND OUTER PIPE IN C ARBON STEEL.

Imenco Guide Post Extensions make it possible to temporarily increase the length of the guide post, thus providing necessary guiding length for BOP, XMT and other running tools. A standard Imenco GPE fits a guidepost with a top profile according Imenco specifications. In order to meet requirements for extending guideposts which have not been prepared for extensions, Imenco can deliver custom made guide post extension with any profile on the bottom section to connect to the guide post. The Guide Post Extension is equipped with a shear pin, which normally is set to 18’lbs, and can consequently be released by over-pull of SMART SOLUTIONS A3 the shear capacity in an emergency situation.
