Venture into Holkham Hall itself, nestled within 25,000 acres of rolling parkland. Built by Thomas Cooke in the 1700s, this Palladian style house is currently the seat of the 1st Earl of Leicester and home to some of the most exquisite galleries of states and art as well as libraries bursting with old books and manuscripts.

Binham Priory

Impressive Monastic Ruins

The priory is among the most complete and impressive monastic ruins in Norfolk. Founded in 1091 by Peter des Valoines, a nephew of William the Conqueror, the spectacular architecture of the priory can be explored through guided tours. Alternatively you can walk to uncover the building’s history at your own pace with information boards situated throughout. Please note that while dog are allowed on leads to the priory, only assistance dogs are allowed in the church. Access to the priory may not be suitable for wheelchair users.

Rspb Reserve Titchwell

FASCINATING AND DIVERSE NATURAL HABITATS

Perched on a stunning stretch of beach along the North Norfolk Coastline between Titchwell and Thornham, the RSPB Titchwell Marsh Nature Reserve is full of captivating wildlife throughout the seasons. Full of diverse, unspoiled habitats, home to wading birds and other wildfowl, this nature reserve makes for a fascinating day out for couples, families, or groups. As well as bird spotting, there are other informative and interactive activities and workshops available yearround.

Dogs on leads are welcome in the visitor centre in order to access the dog-friendly trail across the reserve.
