The mouse and the rat

One day a mouse ±nds a chunk of cheese. He drags the cheese to his home in a hole in the wall. The rat, who lives next to the mouse, sees the mouse and the cheese. The rat wants to eat the cheese. The rat walks up to the mouse and says, “Hello, Mouse, let me help you carry the cheese. It looks very heavy.” But the mouse knows the rat wants to eat his cheese. “No!” says the mouse. “The cheese is not heavy. I do not need your help.” The rat is cross. He knows he will not get the cheese. He goes back to his hole.
