Do not eat too much junk food. You could become overweight and feel tired.

If adults smoke near you, stand far away from them so you do not inhale the smoke.

Never drink alcohol. If you drink at a young age, it could cause brain damage.

Too much screen time is not good for you. It can affect your sleep and make it dif±cult for you to concentrate.

When you sleep, your brain relaxes and your body grows. Too little sleep will make you grumpy and you will begin to forget things.

Look after yourself by staying clean and neat. Wash every day, brush your teeth and your hair.

Activity 35

Squirrels gather nuts throughout summer and sleep during winter when there is no food. They wake up from time to time to eat.

Snakes are cold-blooded and cannot warm themselves up in winter. They ±nd a place between leaves on the ground or in cracks in rocks to keep warm during the cold.

Snails seal off their shells with a layer of dry slime. This keeps them safe during winter, especially when food is scarce because of snow.

Some frogs dig a hole in the sand in which to sleep, while others stay underwater. Sometimes they will wake up to swim and ±nd food.
