What is a timeline?

A timeline has a beginning and an end. Your life is also a timeline. From the day you were born up until this moment. Your timeline does not yet have an end. Things and products can also have timelines. Study the examples below.

Complete the sentences by writing the correct word on the line.

My past

You are still very young, but think about something that happened in your past. If you want to, you may read your story to the class afterwards.

How to deal with emotional situations

Discuss these situations with a friend. Sometimes we experience emotions and we do not know what to do. What would be the right thing to do in each situation?

My two friends are angry with me. When I try to join them, they run away or whisper to each other. I am not sure what I did wrong. I feel lonely and I am too scared to tell anyone.

I get very angry if I lose a game while playing with my friends. Sometimes I get so angry that I push and shove my friends, especially when they laugh at me. Afterwards, I regret doing it, but I feel too ashamed to apologise.

How to apologise

You know in your heart when you have done something wrong. Perhaps you were mean to your parents, your friend, or your brother or sister. You are reminded of it every time you see them. You wish they would forget all about it and talk to you again, but it is important to learn to apologise if you have hurt someone’s feelings. Read these steps and write about a similar situation that happened.

1. Think about what you did wrong.

2. Think how the person must be feeling.

3. Think about what you should say.

4. Go to the person and be sincere.

5. Apologise to them and also say what you are aplogising for.

6. Give them an opportunity to forgive you.

Special people in my life.

Everyone has someone special in their life. Perhaps it is your mom, your dad, your best friend, or your granny or grandpa. Choose two special people. Draw a picture of them and write down the reason they are special to you.

There are many dangerous items at home that can cause cuts. Draw 2 more items in the blocks and write down 2 ways to prevent cutting yourself.

Burns

There are many ways in which you can get burnt. Accidents happen in the blink of an eye. Write a sentence next to each picture about the correct steps to take.
