UNIT 1: God cares for us and teaches us LEARNING AIMS: After completing this unit, the learner must know the following:
That God loves you. That God cares for you. You do not need to worry, just trust in God. God looks after nature. We should only love God. We should obey God. God still performs miracles today.
INTRODUCTION The most important things we must know and learn in life are the things that God teaches us. Nothing is more important than God: not school work, money, sport, or playtime or work. In the Bible we learn how God has worked with people through the ages and how God also work with us in this way every day. We must learn everything that God wants us to do. We learn these things in the Bible. God talks to us through the Bible. He uses the Bible to teach us. The Bible is the most important book you must read and learn from. We get important values by studying the Bible. You are never too young to start studying the Bible. Read your Bible on a daily basis. In this way God teaches you and you get to know Him and love Him. ACTIVITY 4
Obedient: Compliance with an order, request, or law or submission to another's authority. Holy: Dedicated or consecrated to God or a religious purpose; sacred. Mercy: Compassion or forgiveness shown towards someone whom it is within one's power to punish or harm. Advent: When Jesus comes back to Earth. Desires: A strong feeling of wanting to have something or wishing for something to happen.

UNIT 2: God cares for His Creation LEARNING AIMS After completing this unit, the learner must know the following:
God takes care of the plants and animals, and therefore it is our responsibility to take care of plants and animals. To know that God knows your heart and knows what you truly think. God loves animals and nature and therefore we should protect it. God created everything and therefore everything belongs to Him. God looks after us and gives us health.
INTRODUCTION In this unit we will look at God’s love and care for humans and animals again. God made the Creation from nothing. God is Great, Almighty, Merciful, Patient, Loving and Righteous. God put all of his characteristics into creating the world. God takes care of plants and animals by providing it with food and water. God also takes care of us by providing us with food and water, but God also provides us with something else, which is very important: GOOD HEALTH. Because He gives us all of this through grace, we have a responsibility towards animals, plants and ourselves. We must protect God’s Creation. God loans us these things and therefore we cannot lay claim to it. It belongs to God and we must look after it for God.

UNIT 3: God is love LEARNING AIMS After completing this unit, the learner must know the following:
God takes care of everything in life. God is patient. God is in control of nature. God asks for obedience. God punishes disobedience. God knows everything and we cannot hide anything from Him. God is always with you. You may only pray to God. God forgives our sins. God keeps us healthy. God has power over death.
INTRODUCTION In this unit we learn that God is love. God heals us and keeps us healthy. We can never separate God from love. God knows everything we do and think and we cannot hide it from Him. God sees everything. But God is also merciful and forgives our sins if we show sincere remorse. We can help by praying for other people. God hears our prayers if we trust in Him. God provides for our daily needs and He is never late. He provides at the right time. THERE ARE NO ANSWERS FOR THE ACTIVITIES IN THIS UNIT.

UNIT 4: We must serve God LEARNING AIMS: After completing this unit, the learner must know the following:
The church is the house of God. We must honour and respect God’s church. Baptism is important. Our bodies are the temple of God. We must give our tenth to the church. Understand the use of Communion. We must be faitfhul to God. Self-praising is a sin. We must be God’s messenger. Hypocrisy is a sin. We must always speak the truth.
INTRODUCTION This unit focuses more on the lives of Christians in today’s life. How we must serve God and administer the sacraments. We must also remember that God lives in every one of us and therefore we must respect and look after our bodies. We must visit the house of the Lord and must learn with other people of faith and praise God. It also teaches us to give our offers to the church so the Word of God can be spread to other people by the services we deliver to them. ACTIVITY 121
