• Combines broadcast, print, digital and so called “experiential initiatives.” • The introduction of a new tagline, “Simply More”. • Launch was followed by the brand’s first national television commercial, “Drive-in”. • “Drive-in” allegedly introduces the concept of how compact vehicles can be “strong, beautiful and simple”. • “Jailhouse Rock” which is a song made famous by Elvis Presley is used in the commercial. • “Jailhouse Rock” was an instant hit when released in 1957, the same year as the introduction of the Fiat 500 in Europe.
