GUEST LECTURE BY RICHARD J. COYLE SIMSR hosted a guest lecture by Richard J. Coyle in the month of October for the students and alumni of the college. Mr. Coyle has pursued his MBA from Cornell University and worked at retail giant Wal-Mart. He is a Global Communications & Public Affairs professional with experience spanning the private sector, public sector and academia. Mr. Coyle’s informative lecture on the emerging markets threw light on subjects like the growing economies of BRICS nations and importance of establishing good relations with local governments when MNCs expand into emerging markets. The lecture gave way to an interesting discussion about the kind of opportunities available for management students who are studying in developing nations with emerging markets and the Alumni alike. It was indeed an insightful session.
