Spring Greetings! Passion Styled Devine Creations, Make Reality of Ones Imagination!
INAANIAH
Limited is embracing the change of season and the new journey we will embark on with clients and stakeholders alike. Like the season INAANIAH Limited is warming up it’s clients appetites with positively mind altering innovations to supersede expectation. Spring is a season of brighter vibrant things, which begs the question; why does INAANIAH Limited’s Spring Edition 2016 predominantly feature a colour scheme to the contrary? This would be well observed as INAANIAH Limited, is in mourning of it’s chief Photographer and Tailor, W.O.C and we have dedicated this edition to his memory. Read more about W.O.C and his superior work ethic on page 6 of this edition. Many would debate, that the digital era shadows the art, profession and skill of a professional photographer.
Digital or Analogue? decide over on page 4.
You
We like to keep our readers up to date on our sustainable principles and practises. This edition is no exception to the rule. Head over to page 5 where we discuss our practices of recycling, reusing and reducing waste and materials. It is on all of our interest to protect the planet we live in, if not for ourselves for our future generations. It is our home after all. Whilst learning how INAANIAH Limited is reducing, reusing and recycling consider how you can implement the same practise to your every day decision-making. ClariceIna CIC, part of INAANIAH Limited has made huge progress with the development phase of its
‘National and local Identity Projects’ and expects to launch its first project later this year. Find out how you can support ClariceIna CIC’s community endeavours and hep shape its’ community agenda on page 8. ClariceIna CIC in the community For The Community!

Did Digital Kill The Analogue? Photography
is a fundamental element of INAANIAH Limited and contributes to most of our projects.
In the present day most people are knowledgeable of digital cameras and how to operate them; with children as young as five being able to operate a camera and capture a successful image. However, few are aware of the evolution of the digital camera and its analogue roots.
During the 21srt Century, digital photography has dominated the photographic industry. However, during the 19th century, photochemical processes referred to as analogue, were the solutions utilised to process photographic desires. Behind the click Analogue photography is the title for traditional photographic practices; prominent in 19th Century technology and any non-digital photographic process. Although, whether it is a true analogue process has been the centre of controversy.
Prior to the digital revolution, analogue photography was the standard way to process portraits, in the era to following paintings, which were found to be inaccurate with the
knowledge, an artist could manipulate a painting to satisfy the subjects requests; an option closely related to what is known in the present day, as Photo editing software. Photo editing software is used to edit images, which may sound admirable but it doesn’t come without its flaws. In some instances the original image is so severely distorted it is a far cry from the original version.
Chemical and Electronic Compounds
Analogue technology, progressively adjusts the recording medium via a combination of chemical and electronic compounds. A photographic chemical process can consist of photographic film, which is “a strip or sheet of transparent plastic film base, coated on one side with a gelatine emulsion containing microscopically, small light sensitive silver halide crystals. The light sensitive emulsion of silver salts is coated on a glass plate, typically thinner than common window glass, instead of clear plastic film. The sizes and other characteristics of the crystals determine the sensitivity, contrast and resolution of the film”.
Photographic plates were also used as a capture medium to
pre-code photographic film. Photographic glass plates were far superior to film for resource quality imaging because they were extremely stable and less likely to bend or distort especially in large format frames for wide field imaging.”
Film cameras utilising a gelatine silver process which is when light falls upon photographic emulsions containing “silver halides is recorded as a latent image. The latent image is subjected to photographic processing which makes it visible and insensitive to light. Video and Digital Cameras
“In a video camera or digital still camera, the signal is captured with a video camera tube or charge coupled device sensor, which sends the picture to be processed by the cameras electronics. The signal can be transmitted or recorded on a storage device for later playback.”
The quality of digital photography is measured in the following ways:
-
Pixel Count Spatial resolution Image Sensor Figure of merit
4 6 5
-
Bayer Patten Moire Pattern
Integrity
Film produces a first generation image, which contains only the information admitted through the aperture of the camera.
Trick photography is more difficult with film; in law enforcement where the authenticity of an image is more important like passport or visa photos, film provides greater security over most digital cameras, as digital files may have been modified using a computer.
Cost
Digital cameras are significantly more expensive to purchase than film equivalents but in the long run are cheaper to manage.
availability, a photo could be output and framed within a matter of minutes.
Film cameras are more expensive because of the lack of processing available in the current day and sourcing the apparatus required to output film can incur a huge cost.
Convenience, reliability and sustainability are among the reasons for the widespread adoption of digital cameras. With film cameras, a roll is usually completely exposed before being processed. When the film is returned, it is possible to see the photograph but most digital cameras incorporate a liquid crystal display that allows the image to be reviewed immediately after capture. Digital technology is sustainable in that is a reusable resource, enabling the memory card to be used time and time again, once photos have been downloaded to an external source whereas film is a one use, non reusable resource which is not always reliable.
Advantages and Disadvantages
Digital cameras have an advantage on traditional photo processes, as once a photo is captured, it can be immediately previewed, edited or deleted. There is also the option to re-shoot if you’re not satisfied with the outcome. Digital photos are also a lot quicker to output and depending on printer

as all are reusable, durable and reliable and do not compromise outcomes. Linen tablecloths and napkins offer better value for money, are reusable and are much sought after as they do not tear when wet, industrial resolutions resolve any stains perhaps from wine that may occur, offer better protection for garments because of their density and at the end of their lifetime as a table linen, can be recycled and continue a repurposed life.
