BOUNDARY & TOPOGRAPHIC SURVEY
Built in the 1850s, it served as a residence for watermen and their families, reflecting the region’s maritime heritage. The house is significant not only for its architectural features but also as a tangible link to the lives of those who worked on the Chesapeake Bay. Its preservation highlights the cultural and historical importance of the waterman community in Annapolis, serving as a reminder of the area’s connection to its fishing and boating traditions.

Our design attempts to harmonize the luxury design of West Coast homes and the detailed elements of islamic architecture. On this design we were was in charge of harmozing the concepts descriped and sketched by the client and deign the lot of their property with the main residence, guest homes, pool cabana, basketball court and gazebos. I lead in creating the custom Revit families, the guest home modeling and renders needed to fully showcase the harmony of culture and luxury inside and out.
In response to the seismic shift in work dynamics catalyzed by the COVID-19 pandemic, a team of five interns at Gensler embarked on a transformative project to revitalize the Civic Center in San Diego. Faced with the challenge of repurposing vacant office spaces, our team approached the project with a commitment to historic preservation tactics and adaptive reuse, envisioning a dynamic mixed-use housing concept that would breathe new life into this civic hub.
Converting the abandoned parking lot into an indoor vertical park revitalizes underutilized urban space, transforming a neglected area into a vibrant green environment that promotes community well-being. By incorporating vertical gardens, the project maximizes limited land while providing crucial ecological benefits, such as improved air quality and urban biodiversity. The propsed indoor vertical park enhances accessibility to nature, fostering mental health and encouraging outdoor activities in a safe, controlled environment.

AXON PERSPECTIVE
We documented the house for four days with 10 Morgan architecture students. Students learned and applied documentation techniques like contour gauge moldings, laser measuring and hand drafting. Our strategy was to gather measurements and moldings to document it into the HABS Library of Congress. Our task was to assist with the restoration of Clifton House and to come up with different solutions for its second floor

STUDENT DESIGNED BENCH
BALTIMORE DESIGN SCHOOL | 2023
CONCEPT
As a mentor at the Baltimore Design School, I collaborated with students to design, plan, and build ergonomic benches for the school grounds. This comprehensive process spanned several months and involved teamwork and hands-on learning. I guided the students through each stage of design, sharing my expertise in model-making and the use of shop tools to help them navigate the planning phase before construction. This experience not only fostered their design skills but also encouraged creativity and collaboration.
