YOU CAN HELP

THE THAT LIVES Introducing the new lifenet texas

Since Lifenet Texas first opened its doors in 1977, we’ve helped thousands of North Texans face important issues such as homelessness, mental disorders, addiction, unemployment and hunger. We feel fortunate to help all who seek help, including the uninsured and underfunded. Today, the need to help our fellow North Texans is even greater. • Texas ranks last in the country in mental health funding. Even in our own state, the Dallas area ranks last. • Many North Texas children and teens are homeless. A recent study estimates that nearly 3,000 Dallas Independent School District students are living on the streets. • One in five families living in North Texas are hungry. In fact, Dallas County ranks ranks among the highest in food insecurity rate. Our vision is to innovate and grow in new ways to better meet the growing needs of our neighbors. We look to take a big step forward in our care by introducing our bold plan for our future. With your help, in 2014, we will expand our services into a dramatic new 54,000 square foot resource center that will provide a variety of specialty health care services in one location.
