Students from Non-EU countries and Switzerland can use a long-term student visa as a first step in the immigration process to Spain. Students need to apply at a Spanish embassy or consulate and provide a range of paperwork.

It is necessary to be accepted onto the program before applying?

Yes. You need to be accepted on the Program before submitting a Application for a Visa Residents of EU countries as well as Switzerland, Norway, Liechtenstein, and Iceland do not need a student visa.

If you are from another country, you can enter without a visa for 90 days or get a tourist visa (depending on your country of origin).

If you intend to stay longer than 6 months in Spain, you will receive a NIE. InDance International will help you to obtain visa in 3 steps

Step 1. Enrol in a one year long-term program at InDance International Step 2. To obtain a student stay, get authorisation and the NIE card, you need to be enrollled on the One Year Program. Step 3. We recommend that you apply for a student visa 8 weeks before the start of your program.

Why do I need a long-term Spanish Student Visa?

Long-term visa can be the first step towards immigration to Spain. With a long-term student visa, you train and perform with InDance International. You must apply for a foreigner's identity card (NIE) within 30 days of arrival, which will allow you to open bank accounts, rent a house and work in Spain

The Spanish long-term student visa allows students to work part-time or in temporary employment for the duration of the training The maximum number of hours may not exceed 20 hours per week, and the work must not interfere with the program. In order for a student visa holder to get a job, the employer must obtain a work permit from the Department of Foreign Affairs The work contract may not be longer than the duration of the student visa

Please note: If you would like to get a NIE card (also called TIE, Tarjeta de Identidad de Extranjero) you must be enrolled the one year program. Important! You must apply for a student residence permit (estancia por estudios) within 60 days of entering Spain
