‘Rare block find’on Surf Coast A RARE parcel of Torquay land has come on the market in one of the town’s oldest estates. IDM Property director Ian Marshall said the doubleallotment at 18-22 Parkside Crescent offered many uses for an astute buyer. Mr Marshall said the property, currently used as a bed and breakfast, had a mid-to-late

titles.” Mr Marshall described the double-allotment as a “rare find” in an established estate. “To buy a double-block in Torquay these days you’d have to go to one of the new estates,” he said. “They just don’t come up in established areas very often, especially in this spot so close to the beach.” Mr Marshall said he would sell the property on a “walk-in, walkout” basis. “We aren’t selling the bed and breakfast business, just the property,” he said. “I really believe there are multiple uses. For example, someone with a large family could rent the cottages out during the year and then use them over summer for their extended family. “Another option is to sell off the cottages and then move them for a pool and a tennis court. “I think an astute investor could spot the opportunity here with land on two separate titles side by side.” Mr Marshall said the original house has timber floors, high ceilings, four bedrooms and a wrap-around veranda. The cottages were built to replicate the Victorian-style of the main building, he said.
