entral Walk Drysdale’s stage two has been announced earlier than initially scheduled, with a release of lots brought forward to September 3 to keep up with public demand. According to developers, this has been due to the exceptional sales of stage one. Since being launched a month ago, stage one at Central Walk Drysdale is now almost all sold out. Estate sales manager Lloyd Moulton attributes the popularity of stage one to its proximity to the centre of Drysdale. “Nowhere else on the Bellarine, or even in Geelong, can home-seekers buy into a master-planned estate with only a 200m walk from the centre of town,” he said. “The location advantages of having such nearby amenities is proving to be a highly soughtafter convenience.” Mr Moulton said 600-square metre allotments close to Drysdale were also popular considering the size compared to other urban fringe developments.

According to developer Ross Closter, the lots in stage two are some of the biggest in the estate. “There are six or more blocks larger than 800sqm,” he said. “This is almost double the size of some of the blocks in Jetty Rd. These properties will also have the advantage of backing on to a reserve and waterway.” A central feature of stage two is ae large stone entry-bridge over a parkland waterway. “All of this is set to ensure that stage two, set for release this Saturday, will sell just as quickly as the first,” Mr Closter said.
