The Daily News Your Choice Awards are an indictment of our road to economic recovery. The awards are also an endorsement of your products and services, and we hope that they will give you a much required boost as we approach the festive season.
Having been through a number of serious and catastrophic challenges over the last two years, from the Covid-19 pandemic, to the civil unrest in July last year and most recently the deadly and devastating floods which gripped the city, our story as the business community of KZN is one of resilience.
Slowly but surely we will get back on our feet. It might be difficult, but things are getting better.
The Daily News, as a publication, is continuing to transcend boundaries through our print and digital platforms – and there is no doubt, through our partnerships and local business communities, that the windows of opportunity will unveil themselves as the world continues to recover.
I would like to once again say thank you to all of you who took the time to cast your votes, and congratulations to all the businesses highlighted in this year’s supplement that came out on top in their respective business categories despite facing such overwhelming odds.
Your hard work and resilience has not gone unnoticed and we are proud of our continued association with you. We wish you all the best and hope to see you again next year.
