By simply stepping out your front door you can tell that Mother Nature is already in party mode.

Flowers are in full bloom bringing us bursts of vibrant colour.
The early birds are up even earlier and way more chirpy. Waking up to daylight is a welcome change and being able to sip on those sundowners a little bit longer is bliss.
Last year spring didn’t bring the same kind of renewed energy we always look forward to. While Mother Nature went about her annual transformations, a grey cloud hung over us as the world remained imprisoned by the pandemic.
Even though Covid-19 is still a real threat, there’s now a sense of hope in the air as more and more people are being vaccinated, allowing us to relax a bit. This sense of relief and renewed energy has burst onto the fashion scene.
Bold colours have dominated the runways at this season’s fashion weeks.
The colour palette for spring is a true reflection of what we all need. From in-your-face neons to vibrant orange, you’ll have no choice but to splash buckets up colour over a dull wardrobe. A sure sign that we are slowly coming out of the darkness.
While dressing for comfort remains at the forefront with matching sets still trending, we see more flamboyant designs coming back into style.
Over-the-top puff sleeves and uber-feminine styles will have us floating into summer.
With many people still working from home, dressing for work is no longer a thing. But zoom meetings are, bringing everything above the keyboard into focus. So while you might be in sleep mode below the waist, everything above it needs some vooma.
Even beauty has taken a bold turn. Since we’re still masked up every day, eyes remain the focus when it comes to make-up looks. The bolder the colour the better. Even ears are getting special treatment this season. If you haven’t started packing those bulky jackets and chunky boots away yet, now’s the time to do so.
It’s time to make room for spring and all its glorious splendour.
