Their joint effort and thought have brought the Vietnam Book of Records to the milestone it has touched today, and still counting. VietKings has diligently curated an impressive portfolio of records. Presently, they hold a staggering 2,980 Vietnamese records, including 85 world records and 106 Asian records. Tien’s magical fingertips have woven over 350 portraits of global icons into vibrant masterpieces, earning accolades from Vietnam Records Organization (VietKings) and World Records Union (WorldKings). Vivid Portraits, Endless Records: Tien’s 30-year artistic odyssey yielded 1,500 works, displayed worldwide from Cuba to the U.S. Presidential Palace. His unique style captured iconic figures like President Ho Chi Minh and US President Donald Trump. Notably, during the 2019 US-North Korea Summit, Tien crafted three portraits for Lao leaders. Vietnamese and World Records: Acknowledging his 23-year prowess, VietKings hailed Tien as the first to paint using ten fingertips. Maximum Prime Numbers in a sequence of 1000 Consecutive Natural Numbers Ngo Dac Sang (born on June 19, 2014) of Ha Noi city, Vietnam, set a record for being the first fourth-grade student to figure out 168 Prime numbers in a sequence of 1000 consecutive natural numbers using the super-level bilingual (Vietnamese-English) Finger Maths - Logical Mental Maths methods, the “Finger creases” and “Virtual hands” technique. The record was confirmed on December 22, 2023.

Maximum complex tasks performed in different subjects Nguyen Minh Hai (born on June 9, 2011) of Ha Noi city, Vietnam, set a record for being the first seventh-grade student encodes the Number Matrix and performs the following calculations: Square a 3-digit number, Multiply a 5-digit number by a 5-digit number in Geography Metadata using the super-level bilingual (VietnameseEnglish) Finger Maths - Logical Mental Maths methods and the “Finger creases” technique, Logical Math with National Flag Colors and pictures, Logical Math with spectral colors in physics. Simultaneously, memorize and precisely say aloud 3788 digits in the form of decimal numbers and negative numbers relating to the latitude and longitude of 239 countries and territories throughout the world, as confirmed on December 31, 2023.

Maximum poetry collections on flowers Nguyen Dinh Tranh (born on May 2, 1948) of Ha Noi city, Vietnam, set a record for writing maximum poetry collections on flowers. Mr. Nguyen Dinh Tranh is a poet, painter, and an engineer, whose passion for art, specifically poems and flowers, is evident in his 6 poetry collections titled “Feeling with Flowers.” These collections comprise 605 poems written in Luc Bat (six and eight syllables) and composed over many years. There are 100 poems in Volumes 1 to 4, 155 in Vol 5 and 50 in Vol 6 published by Transport Publishing House. Each collection reflects his admiration for flowers, captured through dedicated observation and showcases his love for nature and life, as confirmed on December 22, 2023.

Maximum squats by learners simultaneously in 3 hours WiT Training Organization Joint Stock Company (est April 2021) of Ho Chi Minh city, Vietnam, set a record for organizing the event with the maximum number of coaches and learners participating in doing 3000 squats continuously, at the same time and location on January 8, 2024 in Phu Quoc city (Vietnam). The record was confirmed on January 08, 2024.

The largest book of poems handwritten in Vietnamese calligraphy Mr. Phan Thanh Son (born on October 13, 1957) of Ho Chi Minh city, Vietnam set a record for making the largest version of the book “Nhat ky trong tu” (The Prison Diary) written in Vietnamese calligraphy. The book, which took up to a year to complete, measures 131 cm long, 99 cm wide, 41 cm tall, and weighs 260 kg, with the book cover made of Red Doussie wood weighing 150kg. The work is a collection of 133 poems from “The Prison Diary’’ and 133 teachings from World Cultural Celebrity Ho Chi Minh written in Vietnamese calligraphy on brocade silk fabric by Mr. Phan Thanh Son. The record was confirmed on October 13, 2023.

Largest Outdoor 3D Mapping Ship Stage Vinhomes Joint Stock Company - Hung Yen branch set a record for hosting “The Grand Voyage – A voyage to discover a prosperous commercial port” - The largest scenography show combining 3D mapping technology on the sailing ship stage. The ship stage is 34-meter long, 13-meter wide, and 20-meter tall, with integrated 3D mapping on sail and a 28-meter wide water curtain. The show, which takes place at Mega Grand World Hanoi, Vinhomes Ocean Park 3, Hung Yen Province, comprises six chapters totaling 40 minutes, with the participation of 62 actors, and utilizing 40 tons of props, as confirmed on December 25, 2023.

Island Water Park with the Maximum Attractions Vinpearl Co., JSC, Vietnam set record for constructing the Tropical Paradise Water Park - The island water park with the maximum outdoor attractions. Located inside the VinWonders Nha Trang amusement park at Hon Tre Island, the Tropical Paradise Water Park has three separate zones with a total of thirty-nine different outdoor attractions. Zone 1 is themed “Tropical Forest” with 10 attractions, zone 2 is themed “Ocean Quest” with 18 attractions and zone 3 has 11 attractions themed “Jungle Legend”, as confirmed on July 9, 2022.

Largest Devil Themed Tourist Complex Joint Stock Company Investment and Development of the PINI Tourism Area (Da Lat City, Vietnam) set the record for constructing the largest “Decent Devil” themed tourist area complex, featuring works and sections inspired by the design of a folklore of the indigenous people of the Central Highlands (Vietnam). Opened on July 6, 2020, and spread across 3.85 hectares, it features several attractions such as the Devil’s Garden, Vi Dieu Thuc Zen Garden, Devil Mountains, and 500 unique Central Highlands art and cultural objects, along with some of Vietnam’s largest and most distinctive works, as confirmed on May 8, 2023.

Top 10 Vietnamese Cuisines set an Asian record value

Saigon’s Banh Mi, Binh Thuan’s Lau Tha Phan Thiet, Soc Trang’s Bun Nuoc Leo, and Khanh Hoa’s Ninh Hoa Grilled Spring Saigon’s Banh Mi (Ho Chi Minh City, Vietnam) set an Asian record value (according to the Asian Records Criterion for Cuisine and Specialty). Saigon’s banh mi stands out for its crispy crust, spongy crumb, and an assortment of fillings, including meat toppings (ham, pork sausage, floss, roasted pork, etc.), pickles, cucumber, chili, and a harmoniously blended sauce, creating a straightforward yet delectable dish. Banh Mi is not only famous in Vietnam but also well-known in the world. The record was confirmed on December 11, 2023.

Inspirational Feats of Endurance Arun Yashwantrao Kulkarni, born on

January 9, 1951, from Akola, Maharashtra, has two astounding achievements. Despite a total knee replacement surgery for both legs, at the age of 71 years and 11 months, he climbed the 10,000 steps of Guru Dattatreya Temple and back. hen we hear the word diabetes, all kinds of thoughts come to our minds as it’s a disease with no cure. You can take steps to curb diabetes, but there is no cure. However, a healthy lifestyle, a healthy weight, and being active can keep diabetes at bay. Torrent Pharmaceutical Limited of Ahmedabad, Gujarat, established a record for organizing maximum pledges by doctors for holistic diabetes management. The doctors signed a digital pledge for holistic diabetes management at a conference organized by the Research Society for the Study of Diabetes 2023, Mumbai, which was conducted from November 16, 2023, to November 19, 2023. The activity made its way to the Asia Book Records (ABR). India is often referred to as the diabetes capital of the world, as it accounts for 17% of the total number of diabetes patients in the world. There are currently close to 80 million people with diabetes in India and this number is expected to increase to 135 million by 2045. The experts at the conference discussed in detail a holistic approach to the management of diabetes which includes physical activities, a healthy diet, and required medication. Their emphasis was on the consumption of fruits and vegetables in moderate amounts, besides opting for whole grains, like quinoa, barley, rice, and oats. It was also emphasized that diabetic patients should go for dairy products made of low-fat or skimmed milk in the form of cheese and curd. Proteins include lean meats, chicken, fish, eggs, nuts, beans, lentils, and tofu. Apart from eating these food items, such patients should avoid certain kinds of food to control blood sugar. Cutting down on foods that are high in carbs can also help. Aerated drinks and chapatis made of flour should be avoided. Starchy vegetables like corn, peas, and white potatoes should be minimal. Exercising

regularly can help manage blood sugar levels and weight. It will also help reduce the risk of heart attack and other heart-related problems. Exercise includes brisk walking daily for about 30 minutes. Psychosocial problems are prevalent in diabetes patients and lead to a severe negative impact on patients’ well-being and social life. So instead of ignoring it, one must address it and take care of it. The psychosocial aspects include cognitive, emotional, behavioral, and social factors, which can only be resolved with proper care and guidance. A diabetic person is low in self-esteem and is always anxious about their health. So apart from the treatment, intervention in the form of counseling and psychological support would help overcome the psychological barriers associated with self-care for diabetes. Earlier also, the company set a record by organizing the maximum number of awareness camps pan India with the help of medical representatives posted in different parts of the country. Campaign to keep the city clean

anpur Municipal Corporation (KMC) launched a 207-hours long city cleaning campaign to observe the 154th anniversary of Mahatma Gandhi. The campaign was inaugurated by the Mayor Pramila Pandey in presence of officials of Municipal Corporation from zonal office of zone 5. According to the mayor the sanitary workers did the duty in two shifts and the cleaning work continued round the clock. The first shift workers were replaced by the second shift workers and the second shift workers were replaced by first shift workers. As many as 10 sanitary workers worked in each shift. The corporation has 110 wards covering an area equal to 403 square kilometers. The record for conducting the longest cleaning marathon was set by Kanpur Nagar Nigam, Kanpur, Uttar Pradesh. The cleaning attempt started on September 23, 2023 at 4 pm onwards and continued till October 2, 2023 at 9 am across all the 6 zones falling under Kanpur Municipal Corporation (Kanpur Nagar Nigam). A total of 207 hours of continuous cleaning was successfully conducted, setting a new India Book of Record (IBR) in the process. IBR adjudicators, Sugata Das and Dinesh Pandey felicitated Pramila Pandey with a medal and a certificate at a special program held in Kanpur. Earlier also, mayor Pramila Pandey spearheaded a 75-hours long campaign under the Swatch Bharat Mission from Cooperganj in Kanpur in December 2022. The mayor herself cleaned the road and gave a message to the residents to keep their city clean. She said that there were more than 250 open small garbage dump houses inside the city which come under the Kanpur Municipal Corporation jurisdiction. A program was proposed in all KMC zones to develop the dump houses in the form of selfie points. On that occasion, the mayor directed the officials to focus on some issues like cleaning of all the open garbage dump houses

under the beautification program, and carrying out interlocking, painting and fencing. The municipality in Kanpur, then Cawnpore, was first established on November 22, 1861 under the chairmanship of a district magistrate. Lala Sheo Prasad was the first vice chairman of the association of Cawnpore Municipal Committee. The Town Hall building was erected at Cooperganj in the year 1879 with an investment of around Rs 2,16,000. The first drainage system was established in 1872 and the first protected water supply in 1892. The city became a municipal corporation in 1959 and Ram Ratan Gupta became the first mayor of Kanpur. Kanpur is the biggest city of Uttar Pradesh and is the main centre of commercial and industrial activities. Formerly it was known as Manchester of India. According to Pramila Pandey, the mayor of Kanpur Municipal Corporation, Gandhiji once said, “I will not let anyone walk through my mind with their dirty feet. Emphasizing the importance of cleanliness, Gandhiji said that “Sanitation is more important than independence”. He made cleanliness and sanitation an integral part of Gandhian way of life. He said that a municipality does not deserve to exist which does not possess model water-closets and where streets and lanes are not kept clean all the hours of the day and night.

ifah Taskeen, daughter of Tajuddin, a contractor and a famous racer who won several state and national awards, had dreamt of becoming a world champion but could not achieve it. Keeping this in mind, Tajuddin decided to make his second daughter to achieve the same. When he was into racing, people from not only across the district but also from neighboring districts used to come and watch his racing skills. On similar lines, now people arrive from faraway places to witness his daughter’s driving talent. Rifah has set the India Book of Record for the ‘maximum number of vehicles driven by a girl’ by driving a multitude of vehicles starting from two-wheelers, moving to four-wheelers, and finally to large trucks, tractors and excavators at the HUDA Public School, Mysuru, Karnataka. In total the young teenager (born on July 9, 2010) drove 8 vehicles expertly. The confidence and courage she displayed during her drive left onlookers speechless. Without any discomfort, she displayed her driving skills. Once she got control of the truck, for Rifah it was like riding a normal four-wheeler. According to Tajuddin, her father, who is determined to make Rifah a Formula 1 car racer, “When she was just six months old, I used to take her for a ride. Gradually she got attracted towards the car and driving. This remarkable boy, who was diagnosed with autism spectrum disorder (ASD) at the age of one and a half years, conquered 14.4 nautical miles (32 km) in 11 hours, 52 minutes, and 20 seconds in the open sea from Thalaimanar (Srilanka) to Dhanush Kodi, Rameswaram, Tamil Nadu, proving that determination and courage can overcome seemingly insurmountable obstacles. The boy established the record for ‘Non-stop swimming across Palk Strait by an Autistic teen’ under the India Book of Records (IBR) and Asia Book of Records (ABR) simultaneously. At the time of this achievement, his exact age was 16 years, 2 months, and 22 days. Haresh’s success is not just about physical strength and endurance. P Balasubrahmanyam was a celebrated singer from Nellor in Tamil Nadu. The Phoenix Crew Club of Chennai, Tamil Nadu established a record for the maximum participants in duet performance. The club organized the event to pay tribute to the legendary singer at Sir Pitti, Thiyagaraya Auditorium, Chennai on September 23, 2023, which got recognized by the prestigious Asia Book of Records. A total of 220 singers from different age groups and from various parts of Tamil Nadu came together at the same platform and sang a total of 110 duet songs for 10 hours and 30 minutes to set the record. An engineering dropout, SP Balasubrahmanyam had electrified the music world with his unique voice. Despite his popularity and stardom, he remained the same person he was as a child, and never missed a chance to be in the company of his friends from his native land. Fondly called Balu by his friends, Balasubrahmanyam was always known to be a downto-earth man. The versatile musical genius left behind nearly 40,000 songs in 16 languages. Crafted from a blend of cutting-edge materials and with indigenous design, the journey of this colossal bedding marvel began with a visionary team aiming to redefine the boundaries of bedtime comfort.” The mattress manufacturing process was initiated on October 20, 2023, wrapping up on October 29, 2023, at Keval Foam’s factory situated along the Junagadh Veraval Highway in Keshod, Gujarat, specifically in Char Chowk. The materials to prepare the mattress included 1-inch foam (1100 square feet), 2-inch EP foam 5500 sq ft (approx 1 truck), knitted fabric (57 meters), and quilt fabric (57 meters). The mattress cut over 9 days, took an average of over 750 hours, and employed an average of 5 to 40 workers.
