Actress Debina Bonnerjee says she is "a forever Shah Rukh Khan fan" and that Ranveer Singh would be an interesting actor to collaborate with. She regrets that her wish of working with the late National Award-winning filmmaker Rituparno Ghosh will remain unfulfilled. "One of my favourite filmmakers that I always wanted to work with is Rituparno Ghosh. Such a talented storyteller Ritu da was. So, when he passed away, I was heartbroken like anything! From the time I became an actress, Rituparno Ghosh was at the top of the list of directors I wanted to work with. That wish will remain unfulfilled," she told IANS. Debina added: "In Bollywood I would love to work with Sanjay Leela Bhansali because of the larger-thanlife world that he creates. Also, I would like to work with Kaushik Ganguly. He is a National Award-winning filmmaker and I worked with him as a teenager in Kolkata, when I did not know what acting is all about." Asked about her parameters to choose a script, Debina said: "I always look forward to a new challenge in my role. I became popular for playing a mythological character like Sita followed by a girl like Mayuri in 'Chidiya Ghar'. "I again played a Goddess, but an antagonist Poulomi Maa in the show 'Santoshi Maa'. When I was doing 'Vish', the character had a supernatural element and I did that convincingly. But playing an urban character is becoming a comfort zone for me. So, I want to play something that would take me out of it, maybe a character from rural India? Yes, that would be challenging for me." So, who is her favourite costar? Debina replied, "I am a forever Shah Rukh Khan fan. From the new bunch of actors, I would say Ranveer Singh is such an interesting actor to collaborate with!"

Actress Mrunal Thakur, who has the films "Toofan", "Jersey" and "Aankh Micholi" lined up, says that she has always taken projects which will help her survive longer in the industry. The actress says that she has always focused on giving her best performance in every role. "I am glad that cinema is reaching a wider audience. There were people and filmmakers who asked me to do a couple of films in order for me to be famous. But I never choose my films thinking that I will be a star. I want to survive longer here. One thing that lasts longer is talent and performances," she told IANS. The actress adds that the medium has never really mattered to her. "No matter where my films come, they need to be good. If you ask me personally my job is just to be a part of the movie. That's what my dream is. Thanks to OTT, in the midst of a pandemic, as an artist if I can entertain then that is only through OTT," she says. However, she does feel insecure due to the current situation. "There is a bit of insecurity also because of the time that we are living in. I am not apprehensive, I am just worried that a film should get the recognition it deserves. Things have slowed down and this has affected the entertainment industry," the actress added.
she won't let the illness ever define her. Sonali was diagnosed with metastatic cancer in 2018 and was treated for it in New York. She battled the illness and emerged victorious eventually. The actress put up a picture of herself from days in hospital and merged it with her current, happy self. She captioned the image as: "How time flies. today when I look back, I see strength, I see weakness but most importantly I see the will to not let the C word define how my life will be after it... You create the life you choose. The journey is what you make of it... so remember to take #OneDayAtATime and to #SwitchOnTheSunshine."

The actress reveals that she follows a certain routine to ensure that she keeps negativity at bay. "The Covid-19 pandemic has impacted one and all. It has made everyone, including me, feel scared and worried. However, I try to be positive in every situation. In fact, I have inculcated several habits that help me deal with stress and give me peace of mind. First of all, I start my day slightly different from others. As soon as I get up in the morning, I usually meditate, and I consciously stay away from my phone or any gadgets for at least an hour," she said. The actress emphasises on the importance of staying away from the phone and spending time with family. She believes it plays an important role in keeping her calm. "I have breakfast with my family and only then do I touch my phone. I guess all this helps me avoid any kind of stress after waking up. Also, when I am home and have free time or when I come back after a stressful day, I go and sit with my family or just my sister and speak to them. I go for walks, too. All this really helps me stay positive and I hope everyone inculcates this into their lifestyle as well," added Srishti.
