Speaking on the occasion, Mohan Babu said that he has been taken advantage of by many. “I came from a humble family and have seen many odd days in my life. But, my poverty or my problems never made me feel bad. Some people have taken advantage of my popularity, and have given nothing but pain to me”, the ‘Pedarayudu’ actor said. Mohan Babu also expressed that many politicians who used him for publicity during elections never returned his help. Ever since MAA election brawl, Mohan Babu has faced a lot of criticism from the industry folks. It seems like the ‘Rayalaseema Ramanna Chowdary’ actor has been upset over the recent happenings in Tollywood as well. A Chiranjeevi-led delegation from Tollywood had met the AP CM regarding a government order. Mohan Babu, who wasn’t invited to the meeting, had earlier left his note, which expresses his sadness over this.

Jared Leto urges people to be ‘thankful’ for Marvel films

Hollywood star Jared Leto has said that people should be "thankful" for Marvel movies after recently causing a stir by saying the comic book films are keeping cinemas open. The actor recently claimed that the comic book blockbusters were the only thing keeping cinemas open, leading to other films being shut out. While he paid no attention to the debate sparked by his remarks, he still stands by what he said and insisted that he actually thinks it is a good thing, femalefirst.co.uk reported. He said: "I pretty much just bury my head in the sand, say a lot of stupid s*** and then let everybody go have fun with it. But I would say it again. I mean, are people upset with it? Do they agree with it? What are they, confused about it? "If you look at the box office and what people are buying tickets for, I worked at a movie theatre as a kid, OK, and I'm talking about what's actually generating revenue to keep the buildings open and the people employed and the ecosystem thriving. "(Marvel movies) are probably the biggest generators of revenue. So, in a sense, we should be thankful. "Especially those of us who are big fans of cinema and theatres, we should be thankful that these films even exist. Because they help support the ecosystem, so that other films that are adult dramas, like 'House of Gucci', have theatres they can actually be in. That's my point. Maybe that was lost in translation, but it seems it's pretty hard to argue with that. I mean, I think it's a sacred thing, cinema. And it's a beautiful thing. It changed my life." Leto will next be seen in his own Marvel movie, 'Morbius', and he relished the chance to tackle "three performances in one" with the title role. He told 'Entertainment Tonight': "I mean, I love that this is a guy, when we meet Dr. Michael Morbius, he's sick and frail and fragile, he's searching for a cure for a really rare disease that he has and others like him, and then he becomes strong and powerful and ultimately monstrous. "So I liked that there were really three performances in one, and there's quite a big transformation there." Leto said it was "quite an honour" to be approached for the project because no one has played the character before and it is a very different movie to anything he's done in the past. He said: "The other thing that excited me is this is the very first time this character has been on the big screen and it was, you know, quite an honour to be asked to do it. "I've never done anything like this before. I've never starred in a big movie like this before. I generally am doing different sorts of films and, you know, I just jumped at the opportunity." The 'WeCrashed' actor had caused a stir with his original remarks last week. He said: "If it wasn't for Marvel films, I don't even know if theatres would

Acurrently untitled sequel to 2021 blockbuster 'Godzilla Vs Kong' is set to shoot in Queensland, Australia, according to government agency Screen Queensland. According to 'Deadline', State Premier Annastacia Palaszczuk said today that cameras will roll later this year in locations across the Gold Coast and the southeast on the Legendary picture which will be the fifth in its Monsterverse franchise. Details of the sequel have been kept under wraps, although 'Godzilla Vs Kong' director Adam Wingard told Deadline last year he would "absolutely love to continue" with the franchise, reports 'Deadline'. He added, "The clear starting point we teed up (in GVK), exploring Hollow Earth, I think there is a lot more to do there. This is a pre-history of Planet Earth, where all the titans come from. We tee up some mystery in this film, things I want to see resolved and explored and pushed to the next level." Legendary/Warner Bros' 'Godzilla Vs Kong' previously shot in Queensland and went on to gross over $468M globally. Prior to GVK, 2017's Kong Skull Island also set up shop in the region. Producer Eric McLeod commented, "The highly skilled crews, first-rate facilities, and unique locations make filming in Australia a great experience. The Federal government's support has always been critical to our success in achieving a high level of filmmaking and an unparalleled audience experience." Added Palaszczuk, "The production is expected to inject more than double the $36.5 million that Godzilla Vs Kong brought to the state and is a welcome boost to our economy as we recover from the impacts of the global pandemic and southeast Queensland flooding events. These types of productions benefit our screen industry, deliver local jobs and provide a welcome boost to our small businesses and communities in and around our production sites."
