Commonwealth Day 2022 celebrated

Commonwealth Day 2022 was celebrated in Australia with a service being held at St John’s Cathedral, Brisbane in the presence of Dr Jeannette Young PSM Governor of Queensland, dignitaries, community leaders and artists. The service promoted the theme for 2022, ‘Delivering a Common Future’ which was followed by a reception.

Commonwealth Day, held on the second Monday in March each year , is an opportunity for individuals, communities and organisations to promote the Commonwealth’s shared values of peace, democracy and equality , and to celebrate the Commonwealth’s rich diversity.
