WA Multicultural Awards winners announced

The winners of the Western Australia(WA) Multicultural Awards were announced on March 14, 2022. Ten outstanding individuals and organisations were recognised for their commitment to making WA more inclusive and equitable. Following is the list of the winners:

Local Government Award — City of Stirling

Sportsperson of the Year Award — Peter Bol

Premier’s Community Response and Recovery Award — Sikh Gurdwara Perth

Sir Ronald Wilson Leadership Award — Hayden Marchetto

Laksiri Jayasuriya Lifetime Community Service Award — Nick Agocs OAM
