Karnataka's Medical Education Minister explores collaboration in Australia

Dr. Sharanprakash Patil, Karnataka's Minister for Medical Education and Skill Development, led a delegation to Sydney to explore collaborative opportunities between Karnataka and Australia in the fields of medical education and skill development. On February 3, 2025, the delegation was received by Consul General Dr. S. Janakiraman at the Indian Consulate.

During their visit, the delegation engaged with officials at the New South Wales (NSW) Parliament House, aiming to strengthen bilateral ties in healthcare education, allied health, and skill development.
The Australia India Business Council (AIBC) hosted a highlevel industry roundtable and a welcome reception dinner for the delegation. Discussions centered on enhancing cooperation in healthcare education, allied healthcare, and skill development between Australia and Karnataka. This visit underscores Karnataka's commitment to fostering international partnerships to advance medical education and skill development within the state.
