World Hindi Day 2025 celebrated with enthusiasm

The High Commission of India, in collaboration with Canberra Hindi School, recently hosted World Hindi Day 2025 with great enthusiasm. The event saw active participation from children, adults, and senior citizens, reflecting the widespread love for the Hindi language.

The celebrations featured a variety of engaging activities, including essay writing, elocution, and tongue twister competitions, which drew enthusiastic participants across all age groups.

A highlight of the event was the Kavi Sammelan, where poets recited their works, entertaining the audience with their literary expressions.

High Commissioner Gopal Baglay, along with other dignitaries, attended the event and appreciated the efforts made to promote Hindi and Indian culture in Australia. The celebration not only strengthened linguistic ties but also highlighted the growing interest in Hindi among the Indian diaspora in Canberra.
