Labor promises to invest $12.5 million in Springfield BioPark
Labor Party announced on May 16 that an Albanese Labor Government will invest $12.5 million in the Springfield BioPark site to facilitate the advanced manufacturing of high-value medicines in Ipswich and Greater Springfield and boost local jobs.
This could be a real game-changer for this region and will also support up to 500 direct jobs and up to 1,000 indirect ongoing jobs, once complete.

“This announcement is part of Labor’s commitment to bring skilled manufacturing jobs back home and build a future made in Australia, including here in the Ipswich region,” he further wrote.
