Seminar highlights India’s tourism versatility

Sydney, July 11 (Australia India News Newsdesk)

The Consulate General of India, Sydney in collaboration with Australia-India Travel and Tourism Council and Australia India Business Council organized a seminar and panel discussions on ‘Tourism in India’ on 10 July at the Consulate. Discussions were focused on India’s versatility in the tourism sector from heritage, eco-tourism, wildlife, culinary, health and medical, adventure sports to cricket tourism.

Air India showcased its recent developments and future offerings while connecting Australia to India. Australian travel companies showcased their varied tour concepts in India and upcoming trends in the Indian tourism market.

During the panel discussion, emerging tourism opportunities in India, initiatives and future avenues to further grow the Indian tourism market was discussed.
