Perth also celebrates Lord Jagannath’s Rath Yatra

The Rath Yatra of Lord Jagannath was organized in the southern suburb of Perth by BAPS Shri Swaminarayan Mandir, recently.

This was the first time that Rath Yatra of Lord Jagannath was organized in the southern suburb of Perth by BAPS Shri Swaminarayan Mandir. The Ratha Yatra started from Harrisdale Pavilion and culminated in Piara Waters Pavilion. Consul General Amarjeet Singh Takhi joined the community in experiencing the divine unity of Jagannath Rath Yatra in Perth.

He was accompanied by Senator Varun Ghosh, Sam Lim MP, Yaz Mubarakai MLA, Dr Jags MLA, Mayor Logan K Howlett of City of Cockburn and local Councillors, and Pujya Swamiji. Over 3000 people from all walks of life came out enthusiastically to participate in this auspicious event.
