AIBC explores opportunities at Australian Toy, Hobby & Licensing Fair 2024

Molina Asthana GAICD, the National Lead for Sport, Art, and Culture at the Australia India Business Council (AIBC), recently represented the council at the Australian Toy, Hobby & Licensing Fair 2024 held in Melbourne. During the event, Asthana met with Tarun Dewan, the Executive Director of the Sports Goods Export Promotion Council (SGEPC) of India, along with other exhibitors.


The fair showcased the offerings of about a dozen Indian companies, presenting a diverse range of toys and sports items.

These companies were supported by the Ministry of Commerce and Industry, Government of India, and facilitated by the SGEPC.

The collaboration between the AIBC and Indian exporters aims to enhance market reach and explore opportunities for growth in the Australian market. The presence of Indian exhibitors at the fair underscores the growing interest and potential for collaboration between India and Australia in the field of sports goods and toys. Through initiatives like this, both countries aim to foster stronger economic ties and facilitate cross-border trade in various sectors, including sports, arts, and culture.
