Tribute to Gandhi: CG leads commemoration at Jubilee Park

Consul General (CG) Dr. S. Janakiraman, accompanied by Consul Niravkumar, Councillors Cr Sameer Pandey and Patricia Prociv, and members of the Gandhi Samiti in Australia, paid floral tributes to Mahatma Gandhi at Jubilee Park on October 2, marking Gandhi Jayanti. During the ceremony, Dr. Janakiraman reflected on Gandhi's enduring legacy of peace and non-violence. He emphasized the importance of cleanliness in daily life, linking it to the Indian government’s Swachh Bharat Mission, which aims to improve sanitation and hygiene across India.
