Indian Society of WA’s new Mgt committee meets CG in Perth

The newly elected management (Mgt) committee for 2024-26 of the Indian Society of Western Australia (ISWA), led by its president Deepak Sharma, recently met with Consul General (CG) of India Amarjeet Singh Takhi. During the meeting, the Consul General praised the Society for its numerous initiatives aimed at fostering a cohesive community and strengthening ties between India and Western Australia.
Consul General Takhi highlighted the crucial role ISWA plays in supporting the Indian diaspora and enhancing cultural connections. He commended the Society's efforts in organizing community events, providing support services, and promoting cultural exchange, which have significantly contributed to the multicultural fabric of Western Australia.
