The Indian community in the Pilbara region recently celebrated Onam with a colorful and festive event organized by the Hindu Association of Pilbara (HAP) in Karratha. The celebration, which was supported by the Hindu Council of Australia Western Australia (HCAWA) and the Indian Consulate, attracted local attendees and dignitaries, including Kevin Michel MLA. The event showcased traditional Onam festivities, promoting cultural unity and the spirit of community among the Indian diaspora in the region.
