Vinayaka Chavithi celebrated
The Telugu Association-of Perth (TAP) and Western Australia Telugu Association (WATA) together organized Vinayaka Chavithi celebrations recently. Consul General Amarjeet Singh Takhi was among the attendees at the celebrations. The Consul General appreciated the wonderful contributions made by the Telugu community in developing a cohesive community and supporting the Consulate in all its initiatives. The Consul General also inaugurated the new website of TAP.


A member of the Telugu community, Sesha Bhargavi Devalpally from Wata TeluguBadi Perth received the 2024 Outstanding Community Language Teacher of the Year Award in recognition of her exceptional role as a community language teacher benefitting the students, the community language sector and the wider community.
