With a resounding voter turnout of 65.19% across all 39 constituencies during the first phase, Tamil Nadu showcased its unwavering commitment to the democratic process. Notably, the bustling metropolis of Chennai witnessed a remarkable surge in voter participation, marking a historic milestone with the highest turnout recorded since 1980 across its three Lok Sabha parliamentary constituencies.
