FICQ & member organizations host mental health workshop

The Federation of Indian Communities of Queensland (FICQ) organized a mental health workshop recently with the contributions of FICQ’s member organizations such as Queensland Kannadigas Cultural & Sports Society Inc and Association of Indian Muslims Queensland. These organizations collaborated with the FICQ in hosting this event. Prof Soman Elangovan, Dr Dipti McGowan and Dr Nayan Soni made insightful and impactful presentations on mental health.

The discussions touched on every aspect of well-being—emotional, psychological, and social—and resonated deeply with the audience.

The sharing of their expertise and personal experiences has not only raised awareness but has also empowered the attendees teaching them to prioritize their mental health and seek support when needed.
