Roundtable on boosting Australia-India critical mineral partnership organized

The Consulate recently organized a roundtable discussion in Perth, recently, with key mining and minerals stakeholders from Western Australia, welcoming a delegation led by V.L. Kantha Rao, Secretary of the Ministry of Mines, Government of India. The delegation included senior officials from various Indian ministries, including Mines, Coal & Steel, KABIL, GSI, and representatives from both public and private sector companies.





The discussions primarily focused on advancing the critical mineral partnership between India and Australia, a key area in strengthening bilateral ties. The meeting aimed at fostering collaboration in mining and minerals, which plays a significant role in enhancing the India-Australia relationship, especially in the context of resource sharing and technology exchange.
