AIBC Diwali Dinner 2024 lights up Brisbane with culture & collaboration

The Australia India Business Council (AIBC) Diwali Dinner 2024 lit up the Stamford Plaza Brisbane Ballroom on November 14, bringing together business leaders, policymakers, and community members for an evening of culture, collaboration, and celebration.




Themed around strengthening Australia-India trade and diaspora connections, the event highlighted the vibrant relationship between the two nations. The ceremonial lighting of the diya set the tone for the night, symbolizing prosperity and positivity.



Attendees were treated to an array of cultural performances, including a mesmerizing Kathak dance, and a soulful musical performance by Darshil Shah and the Darshil Musical Group.



The event also featured inspiring speeches from notable dignitaries such as Consul General Mrs. Neetu Bhagotia, Senator Paul Scarr, and Graham Perrett MP, all emphasizing the enduring partnership between Australia and India.


A special presentation by Prerna Pahwa from Simply Human celebrated community initiatives under the theme "Superheroes without Capes." Mahindra Automotive Australia, the event’s main sponsor, was recognized for their unwavering support and impact, with a nod of appreciation extended to Ankit Taneja for his contributions.
The evening, masterfully hosted by the event’s MC, showed AIBC's commitment to strengthen connections and celebrate the shared values of the AustraliaIndia community.
