Indian higher education delegation engages at APAIE Conference in Perth

Representing the robust educational ties between India and Western nations, a 16-member Indian higher education delegation actively participated in the Asia-Pacific Association for International Education (APAIE) Conference held at the Perth Convention and Exhibition Centre from March 4 to March 8, 2024.

The delegation's presence underscored India's commitment to fostering global partnerships in education and enhancing collaboration across borders. Led by Consul General Amarjeet Singh Takhi, the Indian contingent inaugurated the India Education Pavilion, providing a platform for networking and dialogue with visiting delegates from around the world.

During the conference, delegates engaged in discussions on key issues shaping international education, including academic mobility, student exchanges, and collaborative research initiatives.

The Indian delegation highlighted the diverse academic offerings and research opportunities available within India, showcasing the country as a premier destination for higher education.

In a significant announcement, it was revealed that APAIE 2025 will be hosted in New Delhi in March next year. The coordination of the event will be led by O.P. Jindal Global University, further solidifying India's position as a leading hub for international education and academic exchange.
