Perth Hindu Temple hosts Holika Dahan ceremony, embraced by hundreds of devotees

In a momentous occasion marking cultural unity and spiritual reverence, the Perth Hindu Temple in Western Australia hosted its inaugural Holika Dahan ceremony.

Consul General Amarjeet Singh Takhi, accompanied by Smt Takhi, graced the event alongside hundreds of devotees, congregating to partake in the age-old tradition. Temple dignitaries, including president Ben Naidu, former president Dr Muthukrishanan Nachiappan, secretary Bhawna Goel, committee members Ramkrishan Bansal, and Cr. Keyur Kamdar, were among the esteemed attendees.

The atmosphere was vibrant with devotion as the community gathered to witness the sacred ritual performed in the traditional manner. Holika Dahan, symbolizing the triumph of good over evil, unfolded amidst the chanting of bhajans, spiritual songs, and intricate rituals aimed at invoking divine blessings and safeguarding against negative energies.
