Perth celebrates 10th IDY with enthusiastic participation

Yoga enthusiasts in Perth came together to commemorate the 10th International Day of Yoga (IDY) through various celebrations hosted by prominent organizations.


At Shakktidhaam, participants gathered for a rejuvenating session led by The Art of Living Foundation. The event focused on promoting physical and mental wellbeing through yoga practices that enhance flexibility and inner peace.


Simultaneously, the Tamil Association of Western Australia (TAWA) collaborated with Sky Yoga to organize yoga sessions at Mandala Hall. The celebrations, attended by Consul General Amarjeet Singh Takhi, highlighted the cultural diversity and unity fostered by yoga.


In another part of Perth, the Isha Foundation led a revitalizing yoga and meditation session, drawing scores of practitioners eager to experience the transformative effects of these ancient practices.
The 10th International Day of Yoga, observed annually on June 21 globally, emphasizes yoga's role in promoting holistic health and spiritual harmony.
