Don, on Sunday paid tributes to famed Punjabi singer late Sidhu Moosewala on his birthday by visiting his family home in a village in Punjab's Mansa. Hundreds of fans and followers of Shubhdeep Singh Sidhu, widely known by his stage name Sidhu Moosewala with a huge fan base running into millions, who was shot dead in Mansa district on May 29, 2022, had started gathering at the late singer's palatial house in Moosa village since morning.
Accompanying the late rapper's father Balkaur Singh Sidhu and mother Charan Kaur Singh, Stefflon Don mingled freely with the crowd of Moosewala's followers.
Moosewala's mother Charan Kaur penned an emotional note on his birthday in which she said her son was born to guide the world to follow the path of truth.
The note reads: "Happy birthday son, on this day, my wishes and prayers came true when I held you for the first time, felt in the warmth of the bosom.
"And I came to know that Akal Purakh gave me a son. Blessings, I hope you know there was a slight redness on the small feet, who did not know that these small steps had travelled the whole world while sitting in the village, and thick eyes with which you would see and recognize the truth. They did not know that you were giving the generation of Punjab a different view of the world."
Film producer Madhu Mantena and author and yoga teacher Ira Trivedi officially tied the knot on Sunday night and the who's who of Bollywood came to bless the newly-wedded couple. Mantena, who was previously married to fashion designer Masaba Gupta, and Trivedi kickstarted their wedding festivities with the mehndi on
Saturday night. Their marriage ceremony was followed by a grand reception for their industry friends and colleagues.
The celebrities who came to bless the couple spanned generations.
They included Aamir Khan, who was the lead star in Mantena's 'Ghajini', Hrithik Roshan (with Saba Azad), Allu Arjun, Kartik Aaryan, Rajkummar Rao and
Patralekha, Vivek Oberoi, Sara Ali Khan, Huma Qureshi, Sonakshi Sinha and Rakul Preet Singh. The seniors were also there in full force: Anil Kapoor, Jackie Shroff, Anupam Kher, Rakesh and Pashmina Roshan, Subhash Ghai, Boney Kapoor, Sonali Bendre, Chunky Pandey and Goldie Behl. Madhur Bhandarkar and his wife were present too, as were Ashutosh and Sunita Gowarikar. Also seen in this star gathering: Pulkit Samrat and Kirti Kharbanda, Genelia Deshmukh, Gaurie Pandit and Nikhil Dwivedi. Madhu Mantena, after a relationship with Nandana Sen, was earlier married to Masaba Gupta. They got married in 2015, but in late 2018 the couple announced that they were on a trial separation. They got divorced in September 2019.


Masaba later married Satyadeep Mishra, who played her exhusband in the 'Masaba Masaba' show, in January this year.

In a set of videos surfacing online, Stefflon Don was seen moving through streets of the Moosa village along with Punjabi producer Sandy Joia. Besides "Invisible", Stefflon Don has worked with Moosewala on "47".
On May 29 this year, the world mourned Moosewala's first death anniversary.

The upcoming action-thriller film 'Kandahar' which stars Gerard Butler and Ali Fazal is set to release on OTT platform Prime Video on June 16.

The film is directed by Ric Roman Waugh and features Navid Negahban, Bahador Foladi, Nina Toussaint-White, Vassilis Koukalani, Mark Arnold, Corey Johnson, and Abdullah Alnaji in main roles.
The film follows the story of an undercover CIA operative, Tom Harris (Gerard Butler), taking viewers on an adrenaline-fueled journey deep into a hostile territory in Afghanistan. When an intelligence leak exposes his identity and mission, he must navigate through the perilous obstacles alongside his Afghan translator Mo (Navid Negahban), to an extraction point in Kandahar, all whilst avoiding the elite special forces unit tasked with hunting them down.
Ali Fazal plays the role of Kahil in the movie who goes up against Tom Harris in a dangerous game of cat and mouse. The movie draws inspiration from true events from the life of a former military intelligence officer.
"Release of 'Kandahar' on Prime Video in India is a homecoming of sorts for me," shared Actor Ali Fazal.
