The Greater Springfield Specialist Suites, suitable for health professionals, specialists, commercial office users and ground floor retail, is the perfect place to work for Dr Dhital and her husband, who said living and working in the area was a perfect combination.
“Work will be only five minutes from my home,” Dr Dhital said.
“We were looking at setting up a practice somewhere, and thought let’s go for it.
“Being part of the community we live in, and having friends and family around us was part of the decision making process.
“Being part of the community is special. For us it’s more than just a practice.”

Located within Health City Springfield Central, the facility is directly adjacent to the Mater Private Hospital Springfield as well as AVEO Springfield, Quest Apartments and childcare which are under construction.
Having worked in regional areas, Dr Dhital said it was important to have a rapport with her patients.
“It really makes a big difference in people’s lives,” Dr Dhital said.
The suites will include primary care, skin cancer treatment, and allied health professionals, she said.
“I think having these services in one place, and then the specialists in the building and the patients able to come here, will be so much easier to access these services.
“I’ve noticed some people take a day off to see a doctor, so to have this service around the corner will make a huge difference to people’s lives.”

Dr Dhital and her husband built an investment property in Greater Springfield, however this is now being turned into the couple’s dream home with their plans to work at the Greater Springfield Specialist Suites.
With a hub of world-class medical services available Dr Dhital said quality education facilities were nearby providing a lifelong learning environment with tertiary, schooling, training and childcare educational services.
Health City executive chair Dr Rob Stable said having a comprehensive facility like the Greater Springfield Specialist Suites would provide more services to the ever-expanding population in the region.
“Comprehensive health services are critical elements of a master planned city,” Dr Stable said.
“This facility will save people from driving or catching public transport to Brisbane for specialist care.”
A healthy and vibrant lifestyle is the mantra of Greater Springfield therefore accessing the Greater Springfield Specialist Suites will only be a short trip for local residents, Dr Stable said.
“Unfortunately, people get sick and having access to a range of specialists locally is practical for many,” he said.
“The population of Greater Springfield is such that we can justify having such a diverse range of specialists here.”
