GAQ organises Garba night

Gujarati Association of Queensland Inc organized the Garba nights with a lot of fanfare with a live band performed by Samir Vora, Hemant Naik, Nimisha, Mittal, Bharat, Mithun and others. A large number of Garba enthusiasts including children, women, youth and seniors participated in the event. The Graba nights were held on 16th, 23rd and 30th September at the Centenary State High and Calamvale Community College. GAQ would like to thank the Queensland government and the representative of Hon. Leanne Linard MP Minister for Children and Youth Justice, Minister for Multicultural Affairs and Jess Pugh MP for Mount Ommanney who attended the night on 16th September. GAQ also extends its gratitude for the Lord Mayor Community Fund - Jimboree Heights Ward , Councillor Sarah Hutton for attending on 23rd September and Councillor Angela Owen of Calamvale Ward on 30th September.
