GENZ, a generation born after the 1990’s, has come of age and will be the next generation to enter the workforce. They will also be the generation who will not only be the inuencers on purchasing of products, but will be the people with the potential to buy. They will be affecting the market dynamics and will pose new challenges for marketers, employers, HR professionals, educationists, etc. Marketers will have to understand the psyche of this generation, the way they evaluate and buy products, their preferences and dislikes for them to be successful in the emerging purchasing class. Employers and HR professionals will have to understand what drives this generation, create suitable environment so that they can get the best out of them. Educationists will have to understand that this is a connected generation that has access to a plethora of information. The pedagogy will have to teach them to sift out the relevant information, create more hands-on and practical learning modules and deliver information in smaller capsules. On a personal level, GENZ seeks immediate validation and acceptance through social media, since that’s where all their peers are and where many of the important conversations happen. GENZ has been fortunate to be strongly inuenced by Generation X and Y and have imbibed the good values and traits of these generations.
