Holistic education pays off It is said that India has the largest human resource pool of the world and rightly so. The modern India that has evolved in the new millennium brings us a lot of responsibility along with the power of the economy. The onus rests on us to keep the country steady on the growth trajectory that it has traversed in the past 20 years. We need to ensure that our youth are directed towards the huge employment base being created in various sectors. We at the Indira Group are particular about imparting a 'holistic approach' to the various disciplines that are taught. A complete 'personality' emerges after a student's stint at the Indira Group. The Indira school of Communication is an integral part of the IGI and
carries this trademark pattern of ‘comprehensive education'. The students of ISC are talented and have a zealous attitude towards various creative pursuits. Their keenness to adapt to work conditions made us adopt the novel theme 'Ittitude' that depicts their creativity, talent and positive attitude. Add to this, the Indira hallmark of quality education. The media trainees passing out of the ISC have assumed various positions across professions like film direction, cinematography, advertising, public relations, broadcast and print journalism. The 2010-12 Batch saw an impressive 94 percent placement record and our students are enjoying their stints at various media and entertainment companies.

ISC offers Post Graduate Programme (PGP) in the following Disciplines: Communication Studies (Advertising, Public Relations and Media Management) With a width of options to choose from, trainees are trained in concepts of marketing, advertising, public relations, corporate communications, events, etc. ISC trains them to be an all round promotions specialist of the future through an integrated approach. Mass Communication (Radio-TV-Films) By specializing in Radio-TV-Film, the trainees learn both
studio and outdoor production in radio as well as television. The latest professional cameras, our two nonlinear edit suites and our exquisite 920 sq. ft. studio floor ensure that trainees are in a producer's mecca. Trainees script and produce a number of films by the time they graduate. Journalism (Print and Broadcast) While both print and broadcast specializations are covered, it is our belief that a journalist is one by thinking, and therefore it is important for each trainee to learn both tools and techniques. Best Media School ISC bags 'Best Media School' Award at the Indy's for the Second Consecutive Year

The Indira School of Communication, Wakad-Pune received the 'Best Media School of the year' award at the sixth edition of the prestigious Indy's B- School Awards at the Taj Lands End Hotel in Mumbai on February 15, 2012. The media school takes away the top honor amidst dozens of other media schools. ISC is part of the prominent Indira Group of Institutes in the city. Indy's recognizes excellence in Mass Communication, Marketing Communication, Advertising, Branding Public Relations & B-Schools. The awards are an annual affair conducted by Indy's that also gives away 'Star of the Industry' awards to a plethora of other segments like hospitality, banking, IT, Life insurance etc. Branding, marketing and communication plan, PR plan etc are various categories in which awards are given away to companies across India. This is the second year in row that the Indira School of Communication receives the award. The Director, Students and team members of the Indira School of Communication who were present for the ceremony applauded the honor.
