Some Indians were evacuated from Sudan during operations launched by other countries, including Saudi Arabia and France, for their own citizens.

Foreign Minister S Jaishankar said on Monday. Jaishankar said the government was “committed to assist all our bretheren in Sudan”. The government has said it was focusing on the safety of over 3,000 Indian citizens presently located throughout Sudan.

Indians residing in Sudan had reached out showing videos of indiscriminate attacks that also targeted residences of Indian community, and looting of essential items by the rebel paramilitary. The fighting had also enveloped the Indian embassy in Khartoum.

Pratham USA is relaunching its Pratham Youth Summer Leadership Program in India this summer following a hiatus caused by the pandemic.

Established in 2018, the Pratham Youth Summer Leadership Program is a two-week immersive program that combines community service and cultural immersion at the ‘Pratham Arora Centre for Education’ near Aurangabad, India. This year’s program will run from July 23 to August 4, 2023

Centre for Education (PACE) near Aurangabad.

Participants will engage in hands-on community engagement activities and see the impact of our work first-hand. This opportunity provides participants with a unique chance to enhance their leadership skills, build self-confidence, and create positive change.

Open to young people between the ages of 16-19, the program will take place from July 23 to August 4, 2023. Spots are limited, so apply early to avoid disappointment. Applications will be accepted until May 1
